Recipe for Success in Our Relationships

The result of the new empowered woman has brought good and enough damages as well. Relationship wise, we are totally stuck if not hurt and both male and female are drifting far away from each other and succumbing to unhealthy relations and perceptions.

Women of today are raised to be strong, proud, opinionated and dominant. Men on the other hand aren't programmed to embrace or prefer an emasculating, dominant woman who is better than them at many endeavors. Frustratingly, majority seem to be biologically if not biblical, attracted to supportive, polished housewife over the challenging, feminist who tirelessly competes on equalizing the man.

The dangling issue: Men and Football

Personally, i once tried being a fan and kept up the pace but got burnt out. Maybe the team i supported, Arsenal, didn't do me much justice or i never understood it at all.

Dangling indeed. Wish i could start with positives but loosing your boyfriend, hubby or even a girlfriend to a football game can be emotionally draining. It's a hobby, yes, but the energy and commitment unleashed can send any woman feeling alienated, frustrated and angry. Some men even go to an extent of choosing their team over their partners. As if that ain't something, we acquire the title football widows!

A married man has all of the above because he has a wife, then why would a woman still want to date someone who is legally bound to another person? Why run from a relationship of your own and settle for second best when you can eat from your own plate?

Ex Factor: Should you sleep with an ex?

There you are, chilling in on a Saturday night. Flipping through the sports channel watching old replays before settling for a collection from your DVD guy. It would not be so bad except you have an itch, a sexual itch -that is in need of scratching. Currently, you have no real prospects on the horizon since your last break up and navigating solo waters can get trickier and lonely, considering a relationship ending does not mean your libido stops. Desperation ensues and your mind wanders off. The dilemma is that, you start obsessing about your ex (you kept friends) as a booty call.
